Gunnar Establishes Wholly Owned Australian Subsidiary, Gunnar Down Under Pty Ltd

Western Australia, September 20, 2024

Gunnar has incorporated a wholly owned Australian subsidiary, Gunnar Down Under Pty Ltd, registered in Western Australia, establishing an in-country base to serve operators across Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Gunnar Energy Services has established a wholly owned Australian subsidiary, Gunnar Down Under Pty Ltd (Australian Company Number 680 932 352). The company was registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) under the Corporations Act 2001 as a proprietary company limited by shares, taken to be registered in Western Australia, with registration commencing 20 September 2024.

The subsidiary formalizes Gunnar's commitment to the Australian market, giving operators a local entity through which to access the company's full suite of relative wellbore-positioning services, relief-well and blowout-intercept response, complex plug & abandonment, well re-entry, and the precise well twinning, spacing and anti-collision work that supports SAGD and coal-seam-gas developments.

Australia is already proving ground for Gunnar's most advanced technology: one of the company's two world-first 2025 commercial deployments of active magnetic ranging-while-drilling on powered drill pipe was carried out in Australia. An in-country presence positions Gunnar to respond faster, build local relationships, and grow alongside the region's unconventional, well-integrity and energy-transition activity.

Gunnar Down Under will operate as an extension of the same engineering, technology and field teams behind the company's global track record, bringing the same single-team accountability and quality system to projects across Australia and Asia-Pacific.
